A DM on Facebook is a message that you get from somebody that you are currently following, or someone who publicly shared something with you.

When they send it via Facebook, it arrives in the form of an “unread” web notification (or message) at the top of your page’s timeline.

It won’t appear in your Messages tab in the Messenger app because there is no distinction between a Message and a DM when both go through Facebook Messenger.

The Google Display Network will show your text, picture, and video adverts. The Display Network is a group of websites that display advertisements, including specific Google services such as Google Finance, Gmail, Blogger, and YouTube.

Mobile sites and apps are also part of this network.

What exactly are search engine advertisements? Search engine advertising often display above, below, or next to organic search results on Bing and Yahoo.

Because Google only shows ads above and below search results, this is one significant difference between Google and other search engines.
